About the Event
The 17th ITFR World Championship will take place in Melbourne, Australia 22-26 May 2023.

The event will be held at the Australian Open Grand Slam venue, Melbourne Park in the days before the 2023 Rotary International Convention. Associated social functions will center around the eastern Melbourne CBD and we encourage registrants to book their additional accommodation when booking for the convention.

In addition to the Tournament, there are two social events planned for which Non-playing guests are invited to join and can be registered at the time of player registration.
​
To participate in the Tournament, you must be a member of the International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians (ITFR). Membership is free and open to Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Member’s spouses.
The tournament will be played over 4 days, with all finals on Friday. Events will be Men’s singles, 55yrs and under, 56 -65 yrs, and over 65 yrs. Ladies singles, 55 yrs and under, and over 55 yrs. Men’s doubles, 120 yrs and under, over 120 yrs (combined age). Ladies doubles. Mixed doubles. 9 Events in total. Your entry fee is the same regardless of how many events you enter so please take advantage of this and enter as many as you can. You may nominate a doubles partner, but they will still need to register separately, or you can enter on your own and we’ll match you up with someone. All first-round losers will automatically qualify for a plate event meaning you will get at least 2 matches in each event you enter.
